Ready for a full-powered scanning program to find and monitor your trades? Step up to the DG2 "Alerts" software.

This new indicator DG2_Alerts is a powerful tool that permits a wide range of monitoring and scanning in TradeStation. It can be applied either to a chart for historical testing or to a RadarScreen grid for real-time monitoring and alerts. By varying the settings, timeframes, and alert parameters, this useful tool can watch the market for opportunities, monitor a trade for appropriate structural points suitable for entrances or exits, or scan dozens of futures symbols or hundreds of stocks for specific set-ups or conditions.

The DG2_Alerts tool is a tireless trading assistant that never takes a day off and never lets its attention wander. It can lift many labor-intensive tasks off the shoulders of the trader.

Sample Alert Requests

Perhaps the best way to understand the power of this tool is to consider the following requests… all of which can be accomplished using DG2Alerts:  

  •       ⇒Tell me which stocks have the largest net gain or loss so far today, AND
           – Are also near to their 1-1 high or low, AND ALSO
           – Which are near to a key HTP support or resistance.
  •       ⇒Show me which markets are in a trend today, which were not in a trend yesterday.
  •       ⇒Show me which markets have a 6/1 today which did not have a 6/1 yesterday.
  •       ⇒Give me the signals when to enter, exit and reverse on my FOREX day-trading system.
              (Based on closes outside and inside the Drummond envelope.)
  •       ⇒Tell me all the futures contracts which are:
              –Showing increasing dot-opening on the 500 tick bar AND
              –Showing trend up on the 15 minute bar AND
              –At or near Weekly support AND
              –Whose yesterday's daily bar closed down.
  •      ⇒Tell me when the day trading position I have on switches flow on the LTP.
  •       ⇒Tell me early in the day which of the fifty futures markets have their high or low near the daily PL dot, AND
             –Whose current price is moving away from it, AND ALSO
             –Whose daily and weekly pldots are close together.
  •       ⇒Tell me when the daily price reaches weekly resistance AND ALSO
             –when the hourly bar changes flow.
  •      ⇒Tell me when I get within 25 ticks of the weekly 5/2 up AND ALSO
             –The daily bar has exceeded nearby support in an exhaust.
  •       ⇒Tell me when the live dot gets closer to the static dot on the weekly chart than it was last week.
  •       ⇒Survey these fifty futures markets and tell me which ones are moving a lot this morning…
  •       ⇒Watch the 500 S&P stocks and tell me which ones show price near monthly support.
  •       ⇒Which futures have their current price in both their daily zone 6 and their weekly 6 zone.
  •       ⇒Which of the fifty common futures markets are in daily, and weekly, and monthly c waves, all at the same time?
