What is TradeGate?
TradeGate is a massive database and engine containing every possible Drummond Geometry market number from the lowest intraday period right up to the yearly chart, all updated every tick and available for indicators, strategies, systems develop and whatever other uses might be contemplated inside or outside of TradeStation. TradeGate also includes proprietary advanced Drummond Geometry concepts such as R-vals (which enable the programming expression of relative support and resistance positions on any timeframe), a sophisticated plotting tool, and an parser and equation-builder that permits the precise expression of any multi-timeframe Drummond Geometry market state.
For example, TradeGate can plot the following expressions:
Show me when the daily main channel is near the weekly nearby support bottom, or when the daily pldot is near the weekly pldot and at the same time that the daily further-out resistance top is near the weekly nearby resistance bottom.
And here is the TradeGate equation for that expression: "( dyMC near wkNSB) or ((dyPLD near wkPLD) and (dyFRT near wkNRB))"
Or:
Show me when the monthly envelope top is located in the weekly nearby resistance zone, and at the same time the daily high was greater than the top of the daily nearby resistance, and the daily high was also near the monthly envelope top.
And here is the TradeGate equation for that expression: "(((moET in wkNRz) and (dyBigH GT dyNRT)) and (dyBigH near moET))"
Or:
Show me when the daily nearby resistance top is near the weekly nearby resistance bottom.
And here is the TradeGate equation for that expression: "(dyNRT near wkNRB)"
TradeGate was created by Dennis Martell and Ted Hearne from 2001 through 2004, and laid the groundwork for today's computerized trading systems.
